Sheep Creek Hydro - No Go For Now

A decision of the board was made at the March 10, 2015 WVID meeting to not sign the letter of intent with Sheep Creek Hydro, LLC. The board cited that due to time constraints and inability to seek legal guidance (the attorney sought by WVID was the same attorney representing Sheep Creek Hydro, LLC) they did not feel it was in the best interest of the district to enter into the contract on such short notice. The board noted at the April regular meeting that they would gladly entertain future proposals for a project like this, but would like more time to review and negotiate the terms of a contract.
